The Story Of Perseverance
Debra Vines
During the spring of 1989, Debra Vines made a discovery: her 18-month-old son, Jason, appeared to be in a different world as he stared vacantly from his crib. Troubled by this, she and her husband promptly rushed him to the hospital. After consulting multiple doctors, they eventually received the diagnosis of autism.
